As mentioned in an earlier post on follow-up care, the National Cancer Survivorship Resource Center has put together a handy toolkit for patients and clinicians to understand and explain the needs of cancer survivors. In addition to the toolkit, George Washington University has prepared a wonderful slideshow explaining what survivorship means and why it is important for patients and clinicians to learn about. It is full of interesting facts, trends and issues to consider.
